Now that the squat-cum-theme park Tacheles has closed, Teufelsberg is probably the city’s number one alternative tourist site; a perilous position if ever there were one. Burly shaven-headed concierges now relieve visitors of a few euros for entrance to the abandoned US spy station but despite the preponderance of tourists, graffiti artists and film crews, Teufelsberg still has its eerie charm and some of the finest views over Berlin. Even if you are not aware of it, the chances are that you’ve already seen Just’s work all over the city. Since he moved to Berlin almost eight years ago he’s earned himself quite a reputation.
